Incubator Manager

Sarah Machio is an experienced Program Manager with a strong track record in designing, implementing, and managing business incubation and acceleration programs, particularly in the green and agri-tech sectors. She currently serves as the Incubator Lead at the E4Impact Entrepreneurship Center, where she oversees incubation activities, provides strategic direction to early- and growth-stage enterprises, and facilitates partnerships to support enterprise development. Sarah has led various innovation challenges, startup competitions, and capacity-building initiatives, working closely with entrepreneurs on market strategy, product development, investment readiness, and fundraising. Her experience includes monitoring startup performance, guiding business model development, and supporting enterprises in accessing funding opportunities through grants and investor linkages. She is also skilled in developing training curricula, setting KPIs, and managing grant disbursements. Sarah has also worked with a variety of stakeholders, including development agencies, private sector actors, and academic institutions, to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Kenya, and she brings a practical, results-oriented approach to enterprise support and ecosystem development.
