Introduction
E4Impact Africa Foundation is a spinoff of the E4Impact Foundation, launched by ALTIS Graduate School of Business and Society at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy. Since 2010, E4Impact has supported over 10,000 entrepreneurs across 20 African countries through incubation, acceleration, and access to finance.
The Vijana2Thrive (V2T) Program, supported by Mastercard Foundation, aims to address youth unemployment by establishing inclusive community hubs offering skills, mentorship, and entrepreneurship pathways, focusing on women, persons with disabilities, and refugees.
Primary Purpose
The Community Entrepreneurship Officer advances youth employment under V2T, focusing on entrepreneurship for self-employment, mentorship, and market access.
Core Job Responsibilities
Program Implementation & Support (55%)
- Identify and support youth with entrepreneurial aspirations within hubs.
- Deliver business development services and mentorship.
- Facilitate access to the V2T Challenge Fund and support proposal submissions.
Collaboration & Ecosystem Engagement (25%)
- Collaborate with partners, county governments, and business networks.
Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance (15%)
- Track enterprise growth, report results, and ensure compliance with program standards.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s in Business, Entrepreneurship, Economics, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in business development or youth enterprise support.
- Experience linking enterprises to finance and markets.
