Strengthening Kenyan Innovation & Entrepreneurship Eco-System (SKIES)
About the Project
At a national level, Kenyan startups have a promising future since they are supported by a startup ecosystem that has achieved laudable milestones and is recognized as one of the most progressive ecosystems in Africa.
These important milestones include commendable levels of funding received, an increase in the number of hubs supporting them, and the introduction of policies and regulations by the government to support the sector; case in point, the startup bill. In a bid to further strengthen the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. E4Impact Kenya signed a contract between Kenya’s Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry under the Kenya Industry and Entrepreneurship Project (KIEP), Spineberg & E4Impact Foundation Joint Venture.
Under this project, Spineberg & E4Impact Foundation JV will focus on strengthening the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem by supporting ecosystem intermediaries such as hubs, accelerators, incubators, and technology boot camps.
